Many homes in the Alta area were built decades ago, and aging electrical systems can present serious safety hazards. Outdated wiring, undersized electrical panels, lack of GFCI protection in wet areas, and aluminum wiring connections are issues we frequently encounter in older Alta residences. These problems don't just cause inconvenience — they can create fire risks and code violations. Norris Electric specializes in diagnosing and resolving these issues efficiently, bringing your home's electrical system up to current safety standards while minimizing disruption to your daily life. If your home still has a Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel, or if you're frequently tripping breakers, it's time to call our team for a thorough electrical inspection.

Electrical emergencies can happen without warning, and knowing how to respond can protect your family and property. If you experience sparking outlets, burning smells from your electrical panel, a complete power loss isolated to your home, or any situation where you suspect an electrical fire, your first step should be to turn off the main breaker if it's safe to do so and evacuate the building. Never attempt to repair electrical damage yourself — contact a licensed electrician immediately. Norris Electric is here to help Alta residents and business owners navigate these stressful situations with fast, professional service.

Don't listen to us, hear it from our customers!
Fantastic company to work with. Great experience from start to finish installing my generator. My go to for electrical services and generator maintenance!
Totally positive experience. Both Sean and Roger were kind and helpful attending to our power issue immediately. This goes for the gentleman who came out to fix it, however I don't recall his name I trust this company as a result. We are very grateful for their service.
Great company and customer service. On an extremely busy day with hot temperatures, they responded to an emergency generator situation in less than an hour with two techs. I would highly recommend this company for any electrical service needs.
Worked with many different techs across multiple projects and always pleased. The design, implementation, and execution process has got power in all the places that were needed. Thanks to many members of the team for the help and great work.
